ISABELLA JOSEPHINE LEON
Isabella Josephine Leon is a filmmaker, animator, and photographer from St.Louis Missouri. She specifically likes bringing in a handmade and physical element to her environments using old and found objects in both her photography and film work. She also organises and produces music and film events with her other collectives Sour Apple, Crimson Production, and The Mythopoetics.
Isabella was influenced by Punk aesthetics, 1950s Fetish magazine Bizarre and Parma Ham's Goth club 'Wraith' when creating this macabre collection of stop motion animations.
